For the past year my friend Jane has been nagging her husband to let her have her breasts enlarged. Saying this I know she doesn’t need it. She already has a 34D and showing no signs of stopping. Like all women we all hate our bodies no matter how perfect our partners say we are as we don’t believe them.
So after reading about Macrolane Jabe thought maybe she should give it a go. If she doesn’t like it then after a year or so she will be back to her natural size. The reviews have been good but unless she tries for herself, she will never know.
She is quite fortunate not to have to think twice before paying £2,600 for them to be temporarily bigger, but for another £1000 she could have results that are permanent.
If you’re not fortunate enough to blow near enough £3000 for a temporary boob job, I’d advise you to have a permanent one.
My sister being a student is often out shopping for a good bargain, you’ll find her mostly in the sale section but if she’s out in the west end she can’t resist popping into Primark.
She told me once that while in Primark she decided to stock up on underwear, her favourite are boy shorts costing £1.50 each. She bought 6 bringing the total to £8, when she came home she was so happy that she bought bargain underwear.
If it were me I would’ve gone into La Senza or Marks and Spencer costing me £4 each.
The next day she decided to wear her favourite out of the 6 that she had bought. They were very comfortable and bright red. A few hours later she went to the toilet when pulling up her new boy shorts they ripped across the top leaving a huge gaping hole under the elastic. Hence the difference between high street fashion compared to designer clothes!
Upset she burst into my room and pulled down her trousers for me to see, I’ve never laughed so much. There was no point in sewing them up they would’ve only ripped again so she threw them all away after wearing them only once.
I will to stick to La Senza and Marks and Spencer because although I buy new underwear every few months I can guarantee they won’t get holes, lose shape or tear.
What my sister thought was a bargain turned out more expensive because she had to re-buy new underwear costing her an additional £24 bringing the total she spent to £32.
If buying £4 a pair is too expensive look out for 3 for 2 offers that can bring the cost down.
A few years ago I was up late watching a program about male grooming. I found it was strange to be on after 10pm after watching for half an hour I found out why.
It started off with having a haircut, getting eyebrows tidied and even men having their nails done the last feature of the show was on a young man getting his sack and crack waxed as a surprise for his girlfriend.
He must’ve been about 24 years old; he was very fair skinned and had ginger hair all over.
As he lay half naked on the couch he was bright red with embarrassment, however he hardly had any hair down there anyway. The waxer spread the wax on and pulled it off he took it quite well, then he turned over and it looked like an x-rated movie.
He had to get down on all fours while she put the wax between his bum cheeks, you could see everything. The crack looked like the most painful. When the waxer had finished he got dressed and said it was very painful, depending on his girlfriends reaction he wouldn’t mind coming back again to have it done.
My friend called me the other day all in a panic; she was just about to start a romantic weekend away in Paris so she decided to wax her bikini area and her upper lip.
Firstly I know not to wax my bikini area myself as its awkward trying to see what you’re doing and stay in a comfortable position. She told me that it all went wrong. As she applied the hot wax and put the muslin strip over to pull it off she didn’t hold the skin taut enough so she was left with bruises and horrible red bumps. Undeterred she waxed her upper lip and the same happened she has red bumps and the area is really red raw.
I told her she should have gone to a salon for a professional wax but she said it was too expensive. To have her upper lip done would’ve cost about £5 and to have her bikini line and £7 (these prices are an average price, expect to pay more in the west end and in well established salons ).
It surprised me because she can easily spend money on designer clothes and handbags but not £12 on grooming.
My advice is if you can’t afford to go to a salon ask a friend to help you remove unwanted hair.
My friend now has to keep the lights out on the romantic weekend away to Paris and wear a lot of foundation to cover her red bumps and rash on her upper lip.
Before choosing Sherwood Breezes in Turkey we read a lot of reviews and compared many that were in the area. We thought we made the right choice until we arrived at the hotel.
The coach pulled up and it looked very disappointing we had a late night flight so we couldn’t wait to go to our room and have some sleep. We checked in and to our surprise we were given our key card and told our room was on the 6th floor. I expected a drink and a tour of the hotel and briefly what there was to do. We made our way to our room and it was disgusting I was so upset this was supposed to be a five star hotel and the room was so small hardly any room to unpack clothes and the bathroom was also as disappointing. The bed was the worst I’ve ever slept on I didn’t have a good night sleep the whole week I was there. Shattered we went to sleep.
Breakfast was very basic like cereal, eggs and toast.Lunch and dinner was also disgusting everything is boiled and there isn’t much choice, they don’t tell you what meat is in the food my husband and I don’t eat beef so it was important to know. The spa is far too expensive we went to a real Turkish bath for £10 whereas in the hotel they charge you £60, we then had a massage for about 12 euros, and we found out that just down the road there was a Turkish bath and massages available for a much cheaper price.
Excursions were very poor they take you to places like a gold factory, a carpet factory and a leather factory to try and get you to buy things the prices were more expensive than the hotel. It was a waste of time. Outside the hotel the food is also very poor there are only kebabs to eat I had one and it was disgusting. The people at the hotel favour the Germans more than the English as soon as you tell local people that you are from England prices seem to rocket.
We went with first choice and there was a rep that came to the hotel everyday he wasn’t very helpful and he doesn’t really tell you the truth on where you go on excursions. There isn’t much to do in Antalya we couldn’t wait to come home. They rip you off a lot there I was told to take euros but found everything to be cheaper in lira as the prices they charge in euros vary from person to person, so the Turkish lira is by far the most cheapest.
The plane was too small and there was no organisation getting people to board. The whole experience has put me off both Turkey and First Choice. For what you pay it’s nowhere near five star I gave it two at most.
